Last week our speaker was Suzanne Kline, founder of the Giz Kids Foundation which promotes learning with short episodes performed by puppets, each giving a lesson at the same time as they entertain.

The information below is from Giz Kids Foundation: We created an informative children’s Network to meet the intended entertainment and educational goals. We do this by bridging storytelling, the latest LED technology, animation, and innovative live-action puppetry performances appealing to ages five to eleven.

In each short episode, one or more characters present a conflict for the Woof Chat News Team to solve. Together, they turn to Gizmo’s Woof Chat News to report helpful stories, on-location interviews, and informative experts who uncover unique and insightful ways to approach their concerns. Then, equipped with new knowledge and inspiration, everyone comes together for a humorous or touching ending. Learning together, we form connections that expand our worldviews, deepen self-awareness, and ultimately lead to our most significant achievements. Gizmo’s Woof Chat Network opens the curiosity to learn about others and the world around us. Puppetry is a transformative form of storytelling that engages children and adults uniquely in an approachable way—with compelling characters, expertly voiced and manipulated by a dedicated team of artists.

The live-action studio performance creates a seemingly in-person relationship with its audience— aptly referred to as the Woof Chatters. Beyond their animated world, the puppet reporters can go on location and interact spontaneously with real-life communities, making their shared experiences accessible to all ages globally. Learning together, we form connections that expand our worldviews, deepen self-awareness, and ultimately lead to our most significant achievements. Gizmo’s Woof Chat News opens the curiosity to learn about others and the world around us.
